Sport

The department has 10 full time and 3 part time teaching staff. There is a full time sports technician and 4 part time coaches. Facilities are excellent, comprising a sports hall, floodlit all weather pitch, and well equipped fitness room and extensive outdoor playing fields together with indoor and outdoor changing facilities. There are 6 designated teaching rooms, 5 of which have extensive IT access, and all are equipped with interactive whiteboards.

Academic sports programmes include Physical Education at AS and A2 level and BTEC Sport and Exercise Science at First and National Diploma level and BTEC Sport at Certificate and Subsidiary Diploma level.

More practically based options are covered through the enrichment programme which includes the sports academies and development programmes.
