Huddersfield New College is set in a 29 acre green field site with panoramic views over the foot hills of the Pennines. Over the last 10 years the College has made substantial investment in its buildings, facilities, technology and resources.

The College has a number of learning resource centres providing all students with a range of services and facilities to support and enhance the learning experience. They offer modern, spacious, well staffed and resourced working environments. There are many sports and performing arts facilities. These include a 4 badminton court sized sports hall, full football pitch sized floodlit astro-turf, well equipped fitness centre, swimming pool, grass football and rugby pitches, 2 theatres, and dance studio, to support the curriculum as well as the various academies and enrichment activities at the College. In addition, there is a vast range of other specialist facilities and resources for each subject area. These are supported by an IT network of 1600 machines, including PCs, iMacs, laptops and relevant software.

There is a wide offer of catering facilities at the College, including a 450-seater main dining/ social area supported by a hot and cold food servery, shop, sub-style bar, and a 120-seater cafe in the Multi Media Centre building. These and many other areas of the College also have wireless access for e-mail and internet use, whilst enabling students to catch up on work.
