Catering Facilities

The College offers a wide range of catering facilities in a number of the College buildings. Opening times are from 8.30am to 2pm, with the Multi Media Centre Cafe opening until 3pm and the Main Dining Area Shop opening until 4.15pm

Main dining Area

The recently re-furbished dining area has modern seating for around 450 students for eating and socialising, or working along with wireless IT access. There are a number of catering outlets in this area, offering hot meals of the day with vegetarian options, fruit, yoghurts and deserts, a wide range of sandwiches and paninis, soups, pasties and pies, pizzas, wedges and pasta, hot and cold drinks and a selection of cereal bars, cakes and confectionery.

The ’Sub’ Style bar offers a range of fresh breads with various meat, fish, cheese, and salad fillings, with dressings. The shop offers further sandwich, drinks and snack options with fresh coffee, chocolate and other hot drinks. A breakfast service operates in the main dining area and Multi Media Cafe up to 10.30am, including hot items, as well as cereals, toast, fruit and juices. In addition, there are separate options for differing faiths.

Multi Media Centre Cafe

The Cafe re-equipped recently has seating for 120, and offers many of the hot and cold options as in the main dining area. Again there is wireless access for IT.

Vending and Water

The Performing Arts Centre and Sports Centres have various vending options, with hot drinks also in the Sports Centre. All buildings in the College have water fountains for student use, and can be used to fill bottles.
