Learning Centres
There are a number of learning centres around the College where students can drop in at anytime between 8.30 am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday in term time, to make use of the study space, staff available and other resources.
Library
The recently re-furbished Library is staffed by a team led by a qualified librarian. The space includes 40 IT work stations for access to the internet, software packages and e-learning resources. There is a mix of work spaces for group work, private individual work spaces, and softer seating areas.
Additional facilities include a photocopier for student use, black and white and colour printing and a scanner. The Library provides a huge range of resources and services to help support students’ studies, including our web-based library catalogue to locate and use the large range of books, magazine and journal articles, DVDs, videos, newspaper cuttings and e-resources.

The Study Centre offers over 100 work spaces, including 25 IT workstations. All subject areas timetable extra support sessions into the Centre each week to help students on an individual or small group basis, for any queries or to help them improve grades, irrespective of whether students are aiming to achieve grade As or have learning difficulties.
The Centre also offers a wide range of learner support resources, and access to specialist staff to help support individual student needs.
