Specialist Facilities

Curriculum Areas

The College has 6 fully equipped science laboratories, with extra technical staff to support the curriculum. In addition, other curriculum areas include a specialist Childcare/ Health & Social Care Block and Modern Foreign Language facility. All these areas have full class IT access, to the associated software and hardware needs.

The Science Block building is currently being refurbished. The works are due for completion in March 2012 and will give the whole science department a modern new building feel.

Other Areas

The Prayer Room provides an area for prayer and reflection. The College also has an Open Door Centre operated by the Healthy College Manager, with the aid of qualified nurses and counsellors, giving students private access to health advice, counselling services, or advice on any worries about College life.
