Assistive Technology
Throughout the college, there is a range of assistive technology in place, to aid your studies. The Study Centre staff are trained in TextHelp (Read and Write Gold) see www.e-voice.co.uk for extra information.
This is text to speech software, which can be used to produce mind-maps, bibliographies etc. One of the Student Support Assistant team, Janet Lorriman, is trained in Alternative Formats and can convert texts to MP3 format, and larger text for visually impaired students.
