What is The Study Centre?
The Study Centre is a cross college resource for all students. It is an area which provides study support, specialist dyslexia support, mentoring, ESOL support, assistive technology and New College Diversity Club. It also provides a ‘safe haven’ for those who like a quiet, supportive retreat. It is also the base for the Student Support Assistant team. There are also computers for general use.
Safe Haven
A new college can be a daunting place and New College is no exception, particularly in those first few days. There is always a friendly reception in The Study Centre and it provides a quiet retreat to talk and feel safe. So, keep calm and carry on down to The Study Centre!
The Study Centre is situated by the main college entrance and is open every day from 8 am to the end of the college day. Just come in and there will be someone on Reception to help.
