Free, confidential and non judgmental
The Open door service is the college’s one stop shop for any health or personal problems which students may have.
The service has both local Kirklees Young Person Friendly & national You’re Welcome kite marking and provides an opportunity for young people to access support at college from health professionals in a pleasant, non threatening environment.
We offer a drop in for ALL students for a whole range of personal issues such as feeling low or lost, stress, problems with college, relationships, health worries, lifestyle checks, alcohol or substance misuse, pregnancy testing, Chlamydia screening, condoms, emergency contraception, hormonal contraception (pill & injection)
You can request to be seen with a friend or on your own.
You can contact us with your questions, comments, compliments or complaints at any time.
