In February 2008, 10 students from Huddersfield New College, took part in the first leg of an International Exchange programme, to Bielsko Biala, one of the twin towns to Huddersfield.... the return leg was in June 2008 where 11 students came to England to complete the exchange.
The whole experience was to allow the students to experience each others cultures, hospitiality, food and countries whilst trying to have as much fun as possible in between and forge lasting friendships.
This site looks at both legs of the exchanges and is a keep sake of different memories and experiences.
If you would like to take part in future exchange programmes contact your college link person. The theme for 2009 is Sports, and is now open to any student in Huddersfield New College.
Cost would be approx £200 - £250 and places are reserved on a first come first served basis.
