New College has an excellent reputation for competitive sport. This is hardly surprising considering that the College stands on one of the largest green field sites in Kirklees and can therefore provide enviable facilities for most sports activities, including a floodlit all weather pitch, fitness suite and a purpose built sports hall.

The HNC Sports Academies provide an opportunity for talented young sportsmen and women to receive expert coaching and top quality playing opportunities whilst studying for a foundation, intermediate or advanced level course of study.
