Huddersfield New College prides itself on the breadth of its involvement with international links and the idea of the 'global village'. Whilst at college students can develop their understanding of new societies and cultures from Africa to Eastern Europe. Based on these experiences many students choose to take up longer term projects abroad, such as teaching in Tanzania.
Some students also undertake work placements in European countries and develop a wide range of life skills based on these experiences.
