What is the Guidance Centre?

The Guidance Centre is an area where you can drop in to do quite work on computers, or at a desk. It is also where you can come with queries about attendance and related matters. Off the main area are the Guidance Office where the Guidance Team are based and also the Careers Area.

The Guidance Team provide support for students in many different ways including:

• Helping with personal problems
• Helping with financial problems
• Overseeing the university application process
• Dealing with attendance issues
• Managing the tutorial programme
• Liaising with parents and carers
• Monitoring academic progress
