Entry Requirements
The general entry requirements for the college are:
Advanced Level
| A minimum of 3 GCSE passes at grades A*-C and 2 GCSE passes at grades A*-B in 4 subject areas. It is expected these would include GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths. | 4 AS or Level 3 Extended Diploma and 1 AS or Level 3 Diploma and 2 AS. |
| A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grades A*-C in 3 subject areas. It is expected these would include either GCSE English Language or GCSE Maths. | 3 AS or Level 3 Extended Diploma and 1 AS plus either GCSE English Language or GCSE Maths re-sit (as appropriate). |
| A vocational qualification equivalent to 4 GCSEs or more at grades A*-C and either GCSE English or GCSE Maths at grades A*-C (as appropriate) or A vocational qualification equivalent to 2 GCSEs at grades A*-C and either GCSE English or GCSE Maths (as appropriate) and 2 other GCSEs or vocational equivalent at grades A*-C. |
Level 3 Extended Diploma or Level 3 Diploma and 1 Applied AS or Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma plus either GCSE English LAnguage or GCSE Maths re-sit (as appropriate). |
Intermediate Level
| A minimum of 3 GCSE passes at grades A*-D including a grade D GCSE English Language and two GCSE passes at grade E including a grade E in GCSE Maths. | Level 2 Diploma plus GCSE English Language and/or GCSE Maths re-sit (as appropriate). |
Foundation Level
| A minimum of 3 GCSE passes at grade E including a grade E in GCSE English Language and 2 GCSE passes at grade F including a grade F in GCSE Maths. | Level 1 Diploma plus GCSE English Language or Numeracy at Level 1 or 2 (as appropriate). |
