Open Door Service

 

Free, confidential and non judgmental

We offer a drop in for ALL students for a whole range of personal issues such as feeling low or lost, stress, problems with college, relationships, health worries, lifestyle checks, alcohol or substance misuse, pregnancy testing, Chlamydia screening, condoms, emergency contraception, hormonal contraception (pill & injection)

You can request to be seen with a friend or on your own.

You can request to see a male or female member of staff

Where are we?
By the Conference Centre, up the English staircase near the dining room.

Times?
5 days a week, precise times are displayed on the door, at Reception and Student Services

Need extra help?
For example with accessing the Open Door, hearing, language or written health materials. We can support you through the Study Centre.

Confidentiality Statement
Anything you talk about at the Open Door will be kept confidential and not passed on to anyone else without permission.
The one exception to this rule is if you tell us that you or another young person, is in danger or at risk, then we would have to pass this information on. However we would always talk to you about this first.
