Permanent. 37 hours per week (8.30 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 – 4.00 Friday). Term time only plus 15 days (41 weeks); the timing of the 15 days will be determined by the line manager.

Band 2 (Points 5-7) of the NJC pay spine for Support Staff; £19,328 - £20,126 reduced pro-rata to £17,501.83- £18,224.44, based on the reduced contracted weeks.

In this role, you will be a key member of one of our service teams, providing first-rate support to prospective students, partner organisations, students and staff at the College. The role would suit an organised, motivated and flexible person with experience in an administration area.

Work Experience Officer

Permanent. 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

 

The salary for this post is within the NJC pay spine range 7-9, £20,126 - £21,509 per annum, reduced pro rata to £17,335.44 - £18,526.68 to reflect the reduced weeks contract.

We are seeking a well-organised, capable and self-motivated individual to co-ordinate substantial work experience placements and support subject areas, careers and pastoral teams within the college.

Work experience is a key element of our student’s programme of study.  Work experience may be compulsory within our vocational (BTEC and CACHE) curriculum, but it also enhances the personal development of our A level students who wish to gain valuable employability skills.

Given the varied nature of the role the successful candidate must be approachable and have a pro-active and flexible attitude to all tasks.  In return you will work alongside experienced and supportive colleagues and the role has the opportunity for professional development.
