In accordance with the terms of a funding agreement, the usage of the 3G pitch has been reviewed in collaboration with West Riding FA, the Football Foundation, SNHS, and Westend FC. The review was undertaken as the funding agreement ended in January 2024.
To ensure that the 3G pitch is a sustainable facility for the College and the local community, as custodians HNC needs to charge all community users a letting fee as of 1st August 2024. HNC will not make any profit from these letting fees. The income generated will be used solely to fund the upkeep, maintenance and running of this important community facility.
The College is hosting an informal Community Information Event on Tuesday 2 July starting at 5.30pm and concluding no later than 6.15pm for any member of the community who has questions about this review. Representatives from West Riding FA will be in attendance and will be responding to queries as relevant. The event is also open to anyone who wishes to find out more about access to this community facility.
There is no need to book a space. However, attendees will need to report to Reception at 5.25pm to sign in and be escorted to the meeting venue. For further information about this event, please email news@huddnewcoll.ac.uk
