Information regarding extra conditions in your offer

If your conditional offer notes extra terms and conditions, the following information below shares more about what this means.

Grades
As discussed with your interviewer, you have been given a conditional offer although your predicted grades did not quite meet the published entry criteria for your pathway. We would like to remind you that although you have been given a conditional offer, this does not change the grades you will need to secure on GCSE Results Day in order to enrol and you must still achieve the relevant published entry criteria.

Attendance
At this early stage we would like to remind you that at interview you were given a conditional offer although your attendance did not meet our published entry criteria. As discussed, you must aim for 100% attendance at HNC, with a minimum expectation of 95%. We recommend that you read the College’s Fitness to Attend and Study Policy so you are aware of the process that will be followed should you not meet this requirement, and so that you can make an informed decision regarding if HNC is the right College for you.

Behaviour
At this early stage we would like to remind you that although you did not meet our Admissions criteria  in terms of behaviour, you were given a conditional offer at interview as we believe you deserve the opportunity of a fresh start. HNC has high standards of behaviour, and we would recommend that before accepting your place you review our Behaviour Policy so that you can be fully clear of our expectations and the process that will be followed should you not meet these.
