Huddersfield New College is giving Year 10 students an opportunity to enjoy an early look at the College through an exciting selection of Open Event activities, which include an online platform and a face-to-face event.

This week saw the launch of an exclusive virtual Open Event platform for Year 10 students, where they can start to learn about the HNC offering from the comfort of their phone or computer.

This virtual platform is home to a range of fun and informative content such as video lesson tasters and activities, college tours and key information about student life and support at HNC.

Following on from this, a face-to-face event is taking place on Wednesday 6th July, where Year 10 students and their families can visit the College in-person, chat to our staff and students and further explore our fantastic student offering.

Marcus Smith-Connor, Principal said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Year 10 students and their families to HNC for an early look at our offering. As a college, we have excellent provision in place to ensure that our students have an enriching educational experience and we can’t wait to showcase this to our guests at our face-to-face Open Event.”

These early look Open Event activities will be followed by more in-depth Year 11 Open Events, set to take place during the autumn term – see our website for further details.

In Year 10 and want to explore HNC? Our face to face Open Event is taking place on Wednesday 6th July between 4:30 and 6pm.
