Huddersfield New College has shared a photo round-up from the College’s recent productions of Grease.

Last week our talented students welcomed guests to a series of four performances which ran over two days, including the weekend. The cast and crew was made up of our Performing Arts students, along with students who take part in the annual production as an enrichment.

After months of hard work and rehearsals the team were ready to welcome guests to their show-stopper – our first whole College musical since the start of the pandemic. The photo gallery below shares a few images from a performance. Guest feedback was brilliant, with one attendee emailing in to say : “Wow, we were absolutely blown away by the passion, enthusiasm and talent in this show. It was genuinely like being sat in a West End production, the actors were so talented. I would not be surprised if I saw many of them on the stage in the future – they were exceptional, and we loved every minute. Please pass on our congratulations to all.”

Cat John, Teacher of Musical Theatre comments: “As a team we are so incredibly proud of how the cast and crew put on a series of four dazzling, professional performances over the course of two days. They have invested hours and hours in rehearsals and preparations for these two dates, and they absolutely shone in the final performances. I’d like to say a huge well done to everyone involved, and thank you to everyone who joined our audience. We hope you loved the show as much as we loved creating and performing it!”
