HNC is delighted to reveal that the College will be hosting a special evening (Thursday 23 October) aimed at showcasing the wide range of courses on offer in the College’s Creative and Digital Faculty, helping current Year 11 students to explore which courses are the right choice for them at post-16.
HNC’s Creative and Digital Faculty is home to some of the College’s most creative courses, from Art to IT and Creative Media to Performing Arts, and while some may be known from school, many of the subjects offered by the faculty will be brand new to most. In this hands-on evening, we’re inviting Year 11 students to come to HNC and experience these exciting and dynamic subjects first-hand through our specially designed workshops – further details of which can be found below.
On the night, prospective students can choose to take part in up to three workshops – experiencing their potential subject choices in action and hearing more about where the qualifications can take them in the future. The workshops are also an excellent way to increase wider knowledge, supporting performance in upcoming GCSE exams. Vicky Close, Head of Faculty (Enrich) Creative and Digital shares more: “We are delighted to invite Year 11 students to join us on Thursday 23 October for a hands-on experience evening where they can explore their post-16 creative, performance and digital subject choices at post-16. Many of the courses we offer may be new to you, and I encourage you to review the choices below to really explore the wide range of options that are open to you at HNC. This evening is not only an opportunity to find out more about our subjects, they’re also a brilliant way in which you can develop your wider knowledge.
