Enrichment at HNC

Enrichment forms a core strand of HNC’s Experience Blueprint and is one of the key ways we support students to become their best selves. All students at HNC take part in enrichment. This not only allows you to stand out from the crowd when taking your next steps after College, it also build genuine skills that build confidence, resilience and knowledge.

The enrichment programme at HNC is genuinely amazing, there are so many different opportunities to choose from. During my time at HNC I took a short course in British Sign Language and enjoyed participating in meditation sessions in my breaks. I also spent a week undertaking a work placement at the eye clinic at a local hospital. These experiences have not only broadened my knowledge, they ensured I could write a UCAS personal statement that helped me to stand out from the crowd.

At HNC, there are a number of enrichment pathways a student can take, from joining the HNC Futures Programme, which sees students develop their work ready skills to support entry to their chosen careers, to signing up to the College’s short courses to develop knowledge beyond their chosen study programmes.
