Open Events at HNC

Our Open Event series for 2026 entry is now concluded. Applicants who are offered and accept a place will receive a range of information, advice and access to opportunities including Hudd Fest, our welcome event for new students. Further information about these will be issued in due course.

Year 10 Open Event – Thursday 9 July 2026
Choosing the right College for you may feel like a big decision – and it is important that you take the time to make the right choice for you.

An Open Event is a fantastic opportunity to explore what HNC has to offer you and if you are in Year 10 you can get ahead in your planning at our dedicated Year 10 Open Event on Thursday 9 July (5.30- 8.30pm – last entry 8pm)

At this you can:

• Discover how we will support you to become your best self
• Speak to our subject specialists about the options available to you
• Learn more about subjects that are not generally available at GCSE
• Find out about entry criteria and the Pathways on offer here at HNC
• Learn more about what you can expect from your HNC experience, including enrichment, support and the unique opportunities on offer
• Attend a Principal’s talk and hear from our Head Students
• Explore our campus and fantastic facilities
• Ask any questions you have about HNC and applying to College

Students attending this event must be accompanied by an adult. If you’re unable to attend with an adult, please contact news@huddnewcoll.ac.uk to arrange a guided visit.
