Sports Academies

New for 2024 entry, HNC’s established Sports Academy programme is introducing a Basketball Academy team. It is envisaged that the team will play within the Association of College’s framework, playing league and cup fixtures across the North of England.

As with all Academy teams at HNC, the expected level for Basketball players is high. Places on the Academy team will be awarded following trials in the summer term and it is expected that those applying for a place will already be playing the sport at a competitive level.

The Basketball Team will train weekly in the College’s multi-million pound Sports Barn, and play regular competitive fixtures.
