College Buses

The College provides several subsidised buses for students to travel to HNC, the routes are below and many students can benefit from low cost travel to and from the College. Our travel service is comprehensive, ensuring that there are direct access routes for most of our students. Please note that students must be in receipt of a NC bus pass in order to use this service. These can be purchased on a termly or annual basis. Students who do not wish to commit to purchasing a NC pass are advised that they will need to look at using public transport instead as the NC service does not offer a ‘pay as you go’ option to enable the College to plan adequate provision and monitor demand. Students who are eligible for bursary are likely to also be eligible for a fully funded NC bus pass, or alternatively they can opt for a MCard, which can be used on public transport. Any changes to the NC routes will be updated via our website, and our social media channels. The NC bus routes are subject to an annual review and may also be adjusted subject to student demand. Please note public service routes to and from the College are not controlled by HNC.

Paying for your bus pass
All payments for bus passes must be made via WisePay. You can pay for your bus pass on WisePay here. Once ordered, your pass will be made available for collection at the Student Helpdesk.

Important information about WisePay

• Before you can pay for your pass, you must activate WisePay
• Due to account security, the activation email will be sent to what will be your HNC student email address not your personal address
• You can access your College email in the same way as you access HNC @ Home – your username and password is the same, as is the process
• To access your College email account and your WisePay activation email, please click here and select the ’email’ option
• Follow the instructions in your activation email, once you have activated WisePay you can pay for your pass
