This week marked the start of our first block of enrichment activities. Students at HNC all take part in enrichment, with each block lasting ten weeks. These run alongside our all year round enrichments, and with over 150 different clubs, activities and societies taking place, it is unsurprising that many of our students have chosen to sign themselves up to more than one block!

The gallery below shares just a few of the activities that have started this week. We’ve enjoyed everything from basketball to accessible astronomy and a Bollywood film club to medieval calligraphy! If you want to explore the full range you can do so here.

Maria Dean, Assistant Principal comments: “We’ve had an incredible start to our enrichment programme, with a real buzz about these activities around College. Our students have genuinely been able to select from an incredible range of options, each offering them something different from a chance to develop their skills, get creative, invest in their health and wellbeing, or simply try something new. This week is just the start of the full programme, with even more new and exciting activities running in block two. Our students are really enjoying how these experiences enrich their day. We look forward to hearing more about how these experiences are not only adding a unique dimension to College life, but helping them to prepare for their future life beyond HNC.”
