You’ll combine traditional art and design skills alongside new and emerging technologies. In this fast paced A Level you’ll explore a range of topics including:
- Illustration
- Digital media including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Mixed media collage
- Typography, layout and composition
- Branding and design

Studying A Level Graphic Design and Illustration at HNC is an enriching experience. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and interests, broadening your horizons and building your cultural capital. These experiences are integral to life at HNC and will help you to stand out from the crowd. Some of the experiences our A Level Graphic Design and Illustration students enjoy include:
- Trips to European cities such as Berlin to visit art galleries, conduct research and build cultural capital
