GRADUATING WITH HONOURS: HNC DANCERS WOW AT ANNUAL SHOW

HNC is delighted to reveal our photo gallery from the HNC Graduation Dance Show 2026, a fantastic collection of bespoke choregraphed routines from our Year 12 and Year 13 A Level Dance students as they prepare to complete their two-year journey or progress to the next stage in their studies as Year 13 students.

This amazing show saw an eclectic collection of routines created by our students and inspired by West End classics, including  ‘Inside Out’, a dance piece inspired by textiles and the journey of a silkworm, ‘Dance Quartet’, exploring the theme of conflict through contemporary movement and physical tension and ‘One Night Only’, from the hit classic Dreamgirls. In Act 2 the engaging experience continued with part two of ‘Morality’, expressing through dance how conflicts can be resolved. There were also excerpts from Cabaret, and a captivating piece named ‘Time’ which told a story of Mona Lisa escaping from her painted form, to reclaim her identity.

Together our full house of guests enjoyed 20 different acts, and a grand finale.

Cat John, Teacher of A Level Dance comments: “Our Dance students express themselves through the art of movement, taking their audience on a journey. Along with a couple of famous classics, our dancers choreographed their routines, bring together powerful performance skills, choreography and creativity to tell their story from the uplifting to more serious and difficult themes. It was an incredible night, and I was so proud of the final performances from our Year 13 students. Although the performances were diverse, each specially marked the a special moment as we say our final farewell to our Year 13 students, and see our Year 12 students prepare to return for the next step in their journey.”
