A Level Mathematics is a traditional and academic A Level which will stretch and challenge your understanding of mathematical concepts. Mathematics underpins our world and this A Level is your opportunity to develop your knowledge and think creatively and strategically, growing your analytical and logical thinking skills by applying mathematical concepts to real life scenarios.

If you enjoy GCSE Mathematics and are keen to deepen your learning of the subject and develop skills and knowledge that supports you to secure places at the most elite universities, this is the A Level for you!

The examining body for this qualification is AQA.

Specific requirements

You’ll need to meet the entry criteria for your chosen Pathway and achieve a minimum of a grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics.
